He has to pay $2000 in restitution for the damages to the Capitol building and faces a sentence of between 15 and 21 months, plus a fine between $7500 and $75000. His lawyer is arguing for a shorter sentence and for the $7500-75000 fine to be dismissed. There’s a sentencing hearing sometime in July.

Edit: he’s from Tampa, isn’t he? I wonder if Florida’s ban on not allowing felons to vote until they’ve paid all their fines and restitution applies to state residents convicted on federal charges. Sure would be a shame for the insurrectionist to lose the right to vote and own a gun …
