“Joint efforts to restore traffic operations and minimise disruption are ongoing by Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Police in compliance with standard protocols,” the media office tweeted.

The police have issued a weather warning for motorists urging them to drive carefully and avoid valleys and other flood-prone areas.

The unstable weather conditions are expected to continue till Thursday.
